October 22-25 Ride to Empower, Red Rock Canyon, Nevada: I found your cycling group, No Women Left Behind, and was impressed by the support your groups gives each other and how much fun you ladies have together. Breast Cancer Network of Strength is hosting its second annual Ride to Empower this October 22-25 in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada. The Ride to Empower is a destination bike ride that raises funds to support our free-of-charge programs and services like the YourShoes™ Breast Cancer Support Center. Whether you are up for the challenge of riding just a few miles or the full 100 miles or would like to experience four days of memories with others who share your passion in helping ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone, we invite you to join us. There are several fundraising packages available so you can create your own weekend experience starting at just $300. There is still plenty of time to train for the cycling part of the event and we can help you every step of the way. Our production partner, Planet Ultra, is working with participants to create customized training programs. More general information can be found at the Ride to Empower blog, with topics including: Basic 12-Week Training Plan, Riding Safely and Legally, Paceline Etiquette and Fueling your Body During the Ride. Feel free to contact Planet Ultra with specific questions by e-mail at embassy@planetultra.com. We hope your group will join us and please feel free to invite others to join you too.
