2017 Lifetime Marquee - Cancelled

Mon, 02/06/2017 - 12:57 - Marquee, Tempe, Tempe Town Lake

For the second year in a row, Lifetime's Marquee Triathlon, scheduled for April 9, 2017 at Tempe Town Lake has been cancelled.

It was also reported by Lifetime that this race will not return to the venue. As of today, Lifetime's Tempe Triathlon in September will be the only Lifetime race in the lake.

There has also been reports coming out of the City of Tempe that outside of the Tempe 70.3 and Ironman, no permits will be issued for events which include swimming in the lake. That could mean that both Tempe International and Lifetime's September race could be in jeopardy.

We will keep you notified and more information becomes available.
