Tri-Scottsdale Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of Triathlon.

Our mission is to promote health and wellness through the growth of the sport of Triathlon in Scottsdale and the surrounding communities.

We do this by increasing awareness of the sport, sponsoring races and athletes and supporting youth development. We also produce a weekly radio show, Tri-Harder Radio (www.triharderradio.com), dedicated to promoting health and wellness.

Our web site has the most comprehensive local and regional triathlon information compiled in one place and is the portal to everything Tri. And, it's free. There are no membership fees, forms to fill out or club to join. We are not a team, a club, a coach, a race director, or a vendor, but we do work with a growing list of sponsors to host events or extend offers and discounts to Tri-Scottsdale users.

2008 goals for Tri-Scottsdale Foundation

1. Be the portal to everything triathlon in the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix area.
2. While we are not race directors, we have partnered with the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation (http://www.komenphx.org/) and we will help put on at least two major events in the coming year.
3. We will provide charitable donations to underprivileged children and we will provide financial support to some triathletes.
